At the end of the day, it is the assurance of good quality which seals any deal. This is also the happy co-incidence in the case of the VBROS Group. Set up in 1998 by Mr. Vijay Khemchandani - B.E in Mechanical Engineering, this business entity is into manufacturing of plastic moulding parts. Armed with very high-quality ratings, VBROS Group confirms that “our turnover in 2016-17 was Rs 66 crore, a hike from the previous year’s Rs 56 crore.” With no technical tie ups or joint venture, VBROS is 100% Indian owned family brand. This company is presently growing at a rate of ten to eleven percent each year. It has the ISO TS 16949 certification. It works on the steam of five manufacturing plants. Of these, three are in Manesar Gurgaon, and one each in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and Ahemdabad, Gujarat. Plastic injection moulding processes are used for production purposes. The company works on the steam of 60 Injection Moulding Machines, Vibration Welding Technology, Ultrasonic Welding Technology, Assembly lines, P.U. Paintshop, Pad printing technology and its own Tool Room facilities. In addition, VBROS is looking at increasing its technology and automation footprint. The VBROS group is already well-known in the arena of technical expertise and knowledge, on-time delivery, and good after sales service as its basic USPs. VBROS’ primetime Tier- I clients of this production hub for four wheelers are Mahindra & Mahindra (auto division), Lumax Mannoh, Lumax Industries Ltd., Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd., Mothersons Sumi Systems Ltd., Magneti Marelli Motherson, etc and as Tier-II VBROS serves Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Nissan et al. For two wheelers, the customer line-up includes Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd., Piaggio, Unitech Machines, Sietz Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., Fiem Industries Ltd., and as tier-II Yamaha, Hero and Honda et al. VBROS is an established vendor for commercial and farm equipment customers such as Mahindra, New Holland, Escorts, SML iSuzu, etc. and has ventured into bicycle industry supplying several safety related parts to Hero Cycles. Diversifying into Electrical industry as well, VBROS is grabbing all the opportunities to become one of the greatest plastic injection and assembly vendors. Not surprisingly, the client retention rate is a whopping one hundred percent. Mr. Khemchandani, the trailblazing head here, has a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked extremely hard to establish the VBROS brand. In this effort of his, he is aided and abetted by his two daughters. Ms. Pratibha Khemchandani- B.E in electronics & communication and an MBA in operations, takes care of all activities of the group. In addition, Ms. Neelima Khemchandani heads the marketing arm and joined hands with him in 2016. A B.Tech in Computer Science, she has also done an MBA in marketing. The primetime blueprint and aim of the Khemchandani trio is “to make VBROS a renowned brand not only in India but on the world stage. Also planning a foray into the automobile OEM segment in India, this team of three have

another wish-list as well. They are planning a venture into exports and diversification from auto to other plastic industries.” In addition, they ideally envision to cross the Rs 150 to 200 crore turnover range by 2020 AD. The ultimate credit of the success of this company goes to the VBROS team’s hard work and always to the customer support that VBROS has received, is what Mr. Khemchandani strongly feels. Participating in CSR activities is another forte here. In fact, VBROS has sponsored many social events; a recent one being Kumar Memorial Awards held in February 2017 in which rural schools and children were given a chance and platform to venture into public speaking. Speaking overall, this manufacturing entity has logged in a very good scorecard. The VBROS group has a very able set of workers slogging it out day and night for making its brand a name to reckon with. To begin with, VBROS does not only make plastic components but also takes on the development of plastic injection toolings and moulds in China, Taiwan and India. These units, lead by two ladies, have a plain and simple message to give - “It is not as if a woman cannot take charge of a technical segment. She is fully and totally capable of comprehending important technical nuances and leading such a business all on her own accord.” Also, they have begun employing a large number of women in their company annals. When the entire ethos and attitude of the company is so trendy, with-thetimes, and quality-conscious, it will be no surprise if one finds the VBROS name trailblazing all across its niche.
