Prior to start­ing his en­tre­pre­neur­ial ven­ture, he was in­volved in the tex­tile in­dus­try. In the cur­rent fis­cal end­ing March 2018 Eco Lite has gen­er­ated a turnover of Rs. 40 crore.

LED Bulbs (3 W to 50 W) LED Street Lights So­lar Light­ings So­lar Power Gen­er­a­tion Eco Lite Tech­nolo­gies is also into gov­ern­ment pro­grams on en­ergy con­ser­va­tion. They are work­ing with En­ergy Ef­fi­cient Ser­vices Lim­ited (EESL). Be­sides, the com­pany had an ex­clu­sive tie-up with Hi­tachi Max­ell Global for two years from 2015 to 2017 for the man­u­fac­ture of LED bulbs. “Cur­rently we are into so­lar power gen­er­a­tion plants also, we are also do­ing so­lar home light­ing projects as part of ru­ral elec­tri­fi­ca­tion. One of our projects at vil­lages in Bi­har, which is worth Rs. 10 crore will be com­pleted by this month. We started the project last year,” pro­nounces the mag­netic Mr. Gur­preet Singh, Part­ner. Mr. Singh is an MBA and was in­volved in land ac­qui­si­tion and de­vel­op­ment of town­ships, be­fore join­ing Eco Lite. A ded­i­cated man­power is the back­bone of an or­ga­ni­za­tion. Eco Lite Tech­nolo­gies has a team of 100 com­mit­ted and ded­i­cated peo­ple for its var­i­ous de­part­ments. Ma­jor­ity of them have been work­ing with the com­pany for the last five years. A team of highly qual­i­fied prod­uct de­vel­op­ment engi­neers han­dle the man­u­fac­tur­ing op­er­a­tions. One en­gi­neer is backed by 24 years of in­dus­try ex­pe­ri­ence. The teams work in a con­ge­nial en­vi­ron­ment and are en­ti­tled to a plethora of ben­e­fits and fa­cil­i­ties. A state-of-the-art man­u­fac­tur­ing unit at Mane­sar is Eco Lite’s core strength. The unit is equipped with ad­vanced fa­cil­i­ties fa­cil­i­tat­ing smooth pro­duc­tion. At its in-house lab, all prod­ucts un­dergo ex­ten­sive test­ing for per­for­mance and safety, etc. Eco Lite has a ded­i­cated R&D lab. “We spend around Rs. 5 lakh on R&D ac­tiv­i­ties every month. Our ob­jec­tive is to in­tro­duce in­no­va­tive, fu­tur­is­tic, eco-friendly and en­ergy ef­fi­cient prod­ucts. In our bulbs unit, we im­port LED chips and few elec­tronic com­po­nents; the rest of the raw ma­te­ri­als are man­u­fac­tured in In­dia,” says a suave Mr. Rishi Vani, Part­ner. Mr. Amit Gupta is full of praise for the Power Min­is­ter of In­dia, Shri Piyush Goel. He says about him, “He has done a re­mark­able job in this in­dus­try by pro­mot­ing so­lar light­ings.” He is also up­beat about GST. “GST is good for our econ­omy. For so­lar light­ings, it is 5%. We work ac­cord­ing to GST norms,” he adds. Mr. Gupta is a found­ing mem­ber of LED Prod­ucts Man­u­fac­turer's As­so­ci­a­tion (LEDMA) and cur­rently the Chair­man, North. He says, “NSIC and min­is­ters from the gov­ern­ment like Ravi Shankar Prasad have helped in in­creas­ing LED lights man­u­fac­tur­ing across In­dia. The dy­namic en­trepreneur, who owes the suc­cess of Eco Lite to hard work and God’s grace, is all geared for newer ex­pan­sions next year. Two years down the line, he en­vis­ages achiev­ing a turnover of Rs. 300 crore, start­ing ex­ports, and carv­ing a dis­tinc­tive niche as a top player in en­ergy ef­fi­ciency in the In­dian mar­ket. He leaves a mes­sage for the read­ers, “En­ergy ef­fi­ciency is the need of the hour. Many pri­vate play­ers have en­tered this in­dus­try. It is wise to be cau­tious when choos­ing prod­ucts; opt for war­ranty-based prod­ucts man­u­fac­tured by re­li­able play­ers from the or­ga­nized sec­tor.”
