SK Systems was the ‘dream come true’ for Late Mr. N.K. Gupta who founded this entrepreneurial venture in 1980 involving a meager investment of Rs.1.0 lakh. Little did he perceive that he had laid the foundations of an empire in the making that would carve a distinctive niche as a leading player in its industry segment in India. With a total paid-up capital of Rs.4.5 crore, SK Systems is today the No. 1 company in India for HVAC systems specially for hydro power projects. Products that the company manufactures include Propeller type fans, Axial flow fans, Centrifugal blowers, Limit load blowers, Pulse jet bag filters, Cyclone type dust collectors, Fire / Smoke dampers, Machine made ducting, Evaporative air cooling units, Wet Collectors, Double skin Air Handling Units, and the list goes on.

Our clients, both domestic and international, bank upon us for our outstanding services,” utters the charismatic Mr. Adesh Gupta (son of Late Mr. N.K. Gupta). A 1998 commerce graduate from Delhi University, he is Director-Materials of SK Systems. He joined the group in 2001. SK Systems has an advanced manufacturing unit at Kundli, Sonepat, spread over an area of 40,000 sq.ft. The company had earlier imported technologies also from U.K. and Canada for manufacture of Pulse jet Bag filters and Acid fume scrubbers. They also have facilities for the manufacture of import substitutes for various kinds of Oil fume exhaust blowers for Turbine application. The group has an in-house R&D department to conduct research on current and futuristic market trends and technology and accordingly develop innovative solutions. “We are an authorized system solution provider of Voltas. No other player can provide the solutions we provide in the hydro project sector. Our technical capabilities facilitate us to complete every project on time,” says a magnetic Swaroop Acharya, Director-Projects. A 1999 engineering graduate, Mr. Acharya joined the group in 2000. The group caters to a large client base from across India and overseas. Few of the clients worth mentioning are BHEL, NHPC, NTPC, Andritz Hydro, Voith hydro, Hindalco, Sepco, GE Energy, and more. SK Systems has retained 90% of their clients. “We have team strength of 125 people, who are dedicated towards achieving the group’s objectives.
