Ensuring the quality of a product or service is often the one function which can really work wonders to make the reputation of a company in its realm of work. As far as this parameter is concerned, Olympic Impex has left no stone unturned to see that the quality of its services in freight forwarding is “one of the best in the Delhi/NCR region,” brightly chirps Mr. Mohit Katyal, Managing Partner, of this Delhi-based company. Incidentally, this firm was set up in 2015 with an initial investment of Rs ten lakh and has Ms.PoonamKatyal as its partner. The exact break-up of services from this firm include air freight, sea freight, warehousing and distribution, cargo insurance, sourcing and procurement (end to end supply chain). Its turnover in the year 2016-17 was three crore rupees, and this went up to Rs seven crore in 2017-18. Olympic Impex has ten employees on board, and two of these are involved in the sales and marketing activities. It provides line tracking to the client of their products in transit. The Katyals believe that “our USP is our strong worldwide-basis networking abilities.”.We record 80% retention of our clients and this could also be attributed to timely delivery (more than 90% of the time).” India remains one of the fastest growing economy in the world. The vision of the Katyals is to “expand in both India as well as in global terms.” They wish to open up more branch offices and cross the Rs 100 crore turnover mark by 2023. The scorecard of success for their company, as per Mr. Mohit Katyal, is “the strength of the hard work we have put in, our clients, innovative approches, technology driven process, government initiatives. Some of the other services also offered by Olympic Impex include pharma logistics, project cargo, dealing in perishable cargo, aircraft chartering, exhibition handling, 3PL/4PL service, cross docking, custom e-booking, and taking care of EDI applications. As far as the orb of international freight management is concerned, this company looks into cargo booking, freight documentation preparation, track and trace to incoterm or cargo turnover, export customs compliance, solution management, and drop shipments related work nitty-gritty. Olympic Impex also has an extensive network of agents in major hubs across the earth. In addition, it provides a full spectrum of ‘bolton’ services for routine as well as cross trade such as cargo insurance, packing, lashing/securing, container stuffing, and local inland logistics.
