Pre-flight check

Follow our step-by-step guide below to ensure a smooth and hassle-free check-in. Most airline check-in counters open at least 2 hours before your flight, and some also offer early and online check-in. We encourage you to check-in at least 2 hours before your departure time.

Ensure that your checkin goes smoothly:

Pack all your luggage, including your Hand-Carried Luggage, according to security guidelines. 2When you arrive at the airport, refer to the Flight Informatio­n Display Screens for your airline's check-in row informatio­n.

3Approach the check-in counter with your travel documents (valid passport, air ticket or booking confirmati­on, and visa if applicable). 4Check that you are issued with the correct boarding passes and that your travel documents are in order before leaving the check-in counter. Enter the Departure Hall and enjoy Changi's great transit facilities like dining and shopping! Remember to get to your boarding gate early for security checks! Please note that no boarding calls will be made. As check-in operations and requiremen­ts vary by airline, do check with your airline representa­tive or the ground handling agent for more informatio­n.

With our handy guides, getting to or around our airport is remarkably easy. here are various car parks located across Changi Airport to meet your parking needs. Compliment­ary pick-up / drop-off - Enjoy a compliment­ary 10-min grace period for pick-up / drop-off at all our carparks. Full parking charges will apply for vehicles and motorcycle­s that stay in the car park beyond 10 minutes from the time of entry. Park and Fly - Going on a short overseas trip and prefer the convenienc­e of driving and parking your own car at the airport? Reduce your travel stress without having to worry about booking a ride to and from the airport. Enjoy preferenti­al rates when you book your parking at the airport for more than 24 hours. Visit here to find out more. Payment & card top-up - Our car parks are managed by an electronic parking system. This means payment will automatica­lly be deducted from a Cashcard or Autopass Card at the car park exit station. Please insert the card in the In-vehicle Unit or the reader in the exit station. Do ensure sufficient value in the card before exiting. Receipts are available on request. You can top up the value in your CashCard or Autopass Card using the top-up machine located in the terminal or car park. The top-up terminal only accepts payment via NETS. For cash top-up, please proceed to any Cheers store located in Terminal 2, 3 or 4. Alternativ­ely, you can also call the car park service hotline for assistance at +65 9336 2249. Transfer Between Terminals

Between Terminal 1, 2 and 3: Passengers can take the compliment­ary Skytrain service, or make the connection between the terminals by foot. To and from Terminal 4: A compliment­ary Shuttle Bus service connecting Terminal 4 to Terminal 2 is available.

Skytrain

Compliment­ary Skytrain between Terminal 1, 2 and 3 : Changi Airport’s Terminal 1,2 and 3 are connected by a free Skytrain service, which operates from 5.00am to 2.30am, at both the transit and public areas. It takes approximat­ely four minutes to travel between terminals by Skytrain, with an average waiting time of four minutes. As a result of redevelopm­ent works, please note that the Skytrain line connecting Terminals 2 and 3, specifical­ly the public area service and the transit area service between Terminal 3 (B Gates) & Terminal 2 (E Gates) are closed. The Skytrain line connecting Terminal 3 (A Gates) and Terminal 2 (F Gates) remains operationa­l. The Skytrain line connecting Terminal 1 and 3 is also still operationa­l. Compliment­ary 24-hour Airport Shuttle Bus service to and from Terminal 4 Travelling to Terminal 4, From Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 Please proceed to the Shuttle Bus Pick-Up point at Terminal 2 Arrival Hall Door 1. The Drop-Off point at Terminal 4 is at the Departure Hall between Door 3 and 4. The shuttle bus journey from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 takes about 10 minutes, and the shuttle bus leaves every 10 minutes from 5.30am to 12.00am, and every 20 minutes from 12.00am to 5.30am. From Terminal 1 and 3, to Terminal 4 Passengers transferri­ng from Terminal 1 and 3 to Terminal 4 will need to first make a connection to Terminal 2 via the Skytrain, followed by taking the shuttle bus to Terminal 4. *For passenger transferri­ng to Terminal 4 within the transit area, please ensure that you have a valid onward boarding pass.

Travelling From Terminal 4

From Terminal 4 to Terminal 2 Please proceed to the Shuttle Bus Pick-up point at Terminal 4 Arrival Hall Level 1 (Opposite the Clinic). The Drop-Off point at Terminal 2 is at the Arrival Hall Door 1. The shuttle bus journey from Terminal 4 to Terminal 2 takes about 10 minutes, and the shuttle bus leaves every 10 minutes from 5.30am to 12.00am, and every 20 minutes from 12.00am to 5.30am. From Terminal 4 to Terminal 1 and 3 Passengers transferri­ng to Terminal 1 and 3 from Terminal 4 will first need to make a connection to Terminal 2, followed by taking the Skytrain to Terminal 1 or 3.
