Tej Choudhary, Founder,
Tej Autosystems (P) Ltd.
The two parameters that control most dynamics of a manufacturing unit are quality control and time management. If any firm stakes a claim to having mastered these two trade tactics, it surely has its name of fame etched out in the history of the concerned industry. Tej Autosystems Pvt. Ltd. (TAPL), Faridabad, established in 2011, is one such corporate entity. TAPL is the principal supplier of different varieties of assembly conveyors & workstations, roller conveyors, material handling equipment, trolleys, and SPMs for food processing industries, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, electronics, and electrical industries. Says Mr. Tej Choudhary, founder of THIS FIRM : TEJ AUTOSYSTEM PVT LTD, “We work on a pan-India basis, make use of Indian products only for own requirements, and do the after sales work ourselves.” The amiable entrepreneur proudly preens that “we manage to retain our 80% of our clients and 90% of our employees.” Adhering to the concept of marketing via exhibitions, this company has clients such as ERD, Havells, HPL, Sandhar, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Wipro, Philips as well as Steel Bird, Su-Kam, Orient, Rico Auto, Surya Roshni and DS Group. Working on about four to five projects at hand each month, the company has “no grievances against the government as such.” Mr. Choudhary, who has a mechanical engineering from Jamia
Milia University, New
Delhi, garnered work experience from companies like Flex Engineering, Noida and from Havells India Ltd. before branching out on his own. Having started with a workforce of four employees on his payroll, Mr. Choudhary is happy to inform that his company now has close to 35 people as its headcount. Strongly falling in line with the Swacch Bharat campaign, TAPL works in a close conundrum with this concept and organizes tree plantation drives and other such programs for greening the planet, et al, in its social work schemes. Believing that “we are numero uno in providing service and proffering immediate response to our clients,” Mr. Choudhary talks about having made an initial investment of about Rs 20 lakh in this firm. Incidentally, the net sales logged by TAPL were about Rs 3.5 crore in 2017-18, and about Rs 5 crore in 2018-19. Certified with the ISO 9001, stamp, the growth in turnovers of this company was about 10% from 2017-18 to the following year. The company, which works on the steam of the principle of “being honest and responsible in the job we take up,” works in synchronization of ethical rules of workmanship and excellent craftsmanship in whatever they do. As they say, there is no substitute for sheer hard work. This is the one ethic which lays the foundation stone and erects the pillar for the successful forays of all entrepreneurship. Mr. Choudhary, too, abides by these golden rules in ensuring that he rolls out supremely good quality products on time or perhaps even before the scheduled time for delivery. This is what sets him and his firm apart in this industry and make them completely successful sellouts in the bargain.
