Co.(Proprietorship), with an initial investment of Rs two lakh. Mr. P.S Atree who was working with Televista Electronics Limited, Delhi dealing with EXIM work applied for Customs House Agents License in the year 1988 which was granted on merits in the year 1989 (“Temporary License”) as per the prevalent Customs House Agents Licensing Regulations,1984( CHALR,1984). This temporary license was subsequently regularized/ made permanent in the year 1991 after qualifying the written as well as oral examinations conducted under regulation 9 of CHALR, 1984. The company started customs clearance business with two employees and made sincere efforts to rope in clients to boost the business. Fortunately, in the year 1995, Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. (A large Multi-national Corporate Company based in South Korea) after looking into our services profile assigned customs clearance work of their import/export cargo required for the manufacturing of Televisions, Refrigerators and thereafter Mobile Phones etc.
Thereafter, in the year 1998, Mr. P.S Atree converted the Proprietorship concern into Private Limited Company with two Directors in the name and style of M/S P.S Atree & Company Pvt. Ltd. so that business with more multi-national companies could be marketed. The Customs license was accordingly changed to private limited company. Subsequently,
more clients besides Samsung namely Honda Motors, Honda Cars,Godfrey Phillips, STMicroelectronics all multinational companies were added to the list of clients due to our professional services and transparency in conducting customs clearance work. Mr. Amit Atree son of Mr.P.S Atree also entered into the business in the year 2005 and became an authorized person in the year 2015 after qualifying Customs Brokers’ examination for conducting customs clearance work on behalf of the company. Mr. Amit Atree, being a new generation product, made innovations by the use of Information Technology system in company’s day to day work. A lot of processes relating to customs clearance have been made on line which substantially reduced physical paper work as well as communication with the clients. The company has been certified as an Authorized Economic Operator by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs since 2014 and hold ISO 9001: 2015. The company is one of the renowned and leading Customs Brokers in Northern India. Presently, the total workforce constitutes a spread of close to 70 persons who are professionally qualified in their respective field of work relating to customs clearance. Ltd. is the only Private Sector Company to receive the World Customs Organization (WCO) Certificate of Merit 2020 on the occasion of the International Customs Day for rendering exceptional
service to the international Customs community. The award was conferred by the Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Sh. Anurag Thakur. In addition to the above highest award in the field of Customs Clearance business, the company had also been recognized for their achievements several times continuously by many organizations related to the field of Customs Brokers’ and Forwarders namely Customs, EXIM India, GMR, CONCOR etc.
Mr. P.S Atree who has been in the business of Customs Clearance for more than three decades also represented in various Committees constituted for the purpose of betterment of trade facilitation of import and export work while holding the posts of President of Delhi Customs Brokers Association from 2015-19;

Further, in the ongoing global pandemic COVID-19, the company contributed their services for customs clearance of PPE Kits, Ventilators and Oxygen Concentrators etc. imported by HLL Life Care Ltd. (A Govt. PSU under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) and arranged for warehousing imported goods and further distribution by the company to all the States, Hospitals all over India including Paramilitary Forces. Similarly, the company also voluntarily offered services to Indian Red Cross Society for clearance of imported goods related to COVID-19. This work was of very arduous nature especially ongoing restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic.
