Modi in Tokyo: India-Japan may finalise nuke deal today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday landed in Tokyo for a three-day visit, where India and Japan are likely to sign 12 agreements, including one on civil nuclear cooperation. Progress is also likely on cooperation in the defence sector, trade and investment, skill development and infrastructure development. There is also a likelihood of India purchasing 12 US-2 amphibious aircraft from Japanese manufacturer ShinMaywa Industries worth $1.6 billion.
