RBI scouting for new office, staff quarters in Shimla

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is looking for new premises for its office and residential complex near the famous Ridge on Mall Road in Shimla. Currently, the central bank functions from SDA Complex Basement–1, Kasumpti, in Shimla. RBI has invited fresh Expression of Interest (EOI) for acquiring land/premises, with or without constructed structure of up to 3,000 square metre built-up area and minimum land area of approximately 3,500 sq m for plot/s, for its proposed office building and residential complexes, respectively. The central bank may consider one or more property for its use at different locations.
