-

Gujarat State Pet ron et Ltd (GSPL) is anticipating a 50 per cent growth in its gas supply business at a time when gas, as part of Gujarat’ s energy basket, is set to grow from 27 percent to more than 30 percent by the end of this year. GSPL is banking on two upcoming LNG terminals— GSPC-Adani joint venture at Mun dr a and Swan Energy’s Dahej— of five million tonnes per annum (mtpa) each. The terminals would augment its gas sourcing from the current 25 million standard cubic metres per day( ms c md) to 36 mscmd by the next year. “We are already sourcing from the existing LNG terminals such as Hazira. With the Mundra and Dahej terminals coming up, we will be able to enhance our sourcing,” said T Natarajan, joint managing director, GSPL.
