NCLT reserves orders over Bakshi’s pleas against McDonald’s

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has reserved orders over two contempt pleas filed by Vikram Ba ks hi in his fight against McDonald’ s. Bakshi, the est ranged partner of the US fast-food chain, had filed a contempt plea before the NC LT against termination of franchise license of 169 outlets in the north and east India. He had also filed another plea against McDonald' s interference into the affairs of their 50:50 JV— Con naught Plaza Restaurant Ltd (CPRL). The tribunal is expected to pronounce its orderon Tuesday.
