The Delhi High Court onWednesday reserved its judgment on the enforcement of ~3,562cr ore arbitration claim made by Japanese pharmaceutical ma jo rD a ii chi Sank yo against former Ran baxy promote rs, M alvin der Sing hand Shiv in der Singh.Daiic hi had approached the high court last year to seek the enforcement of a ~2,562cr ore Singapore ar bi tr al award delivered in April 2016, along with an additional claim of~ 1,000- cr ore in interest and lawyers' fees incurred in connection with the proceedings. The award came on the back drop of actions initiated by the Japanese company against the former Ran baxy promoter sin relation to their purchase of a majority stake in the Indian pharmaceutical enterprise for $4.6 billion in 2008.
