Brush up and invest

-

While several market participants are using social media to express their pleasure at the growing equity culture in India, a few remain unimpressed. The chief executive officer of a top international brokerage said in Mumbai that although Indians were trying out the equity market, they still lacked investing discipline. “Indians should be taught equity investments just like you teach children that they ought to brush their teeth twice a day, whether they eat junk food or don’t,” the CEO said. “Investors should be made to understand that they must invest regularly, irrespective of the direction in which the market is moving.”
