Hyundai crosses 5-mn production milestone

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Tuesday said it crossed the 5million production milestone for the domestic market. The company, which is a whollyowned subsidiary of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Company, on Tuesday, rolled out its 5 millionth — car for domestic market — a next gen Verna, from its Chennai facility. “Today we are very happy to roll-out the 5 millionth car with the Next Gen Verna in the Indian market, the fastest in the industry symbolising Hyundai's long-term commitment to the Indian market," HMIL MD and CEO YK Koo said.
