India contributes 32% to Honda’s 2-wheeler volume

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) ha snot only been strengthening its dominance inthe domestic market but has also been increasing its contribution to the Japanese parent’ s overall volumes, which as of September-end jumped to 32 percent. Honda India over took Honda Indonesia to become the largest volume contributor to Honda Motor Corporation in June 2016.“Between FY 14 and theQ2ofFY18, ourcontribution to Honda Corporation’ s overall volume rose by 11 percentage points from 21 to 32,” HMSI’s SeniorV ice-President (sales and marketing ), YS Guleria, said.
