Murthy’s stand vindicated, so apologise to him: Pai
Infosys’ move to settle with markets regulator Sebi the alleged disclosure lapses involving a severance pact have vindicated N R Narayana Murthy’s stand, its former chief financial officer (CFO) T V Mohandas Pai ( pictured) said on Friday, calling out the company to tender an apology to the co-founder. He said it was good that the Bengalurubased company had filed an application with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to settle the issues around severance agreement with ex-CFO Rajiv Bansal. “The company should withdraw the letter issued to a stock exchange accusing Narayana Murthy of interfering when he clearly raised issues of corporate governance. It should give an apology to Murthy for abusing him and damaging his reputation," Pai said.
