CoCreate Ventures buys Indulge Beverages, parent of Bonhomia Info Edge invests ~12.5 crore in career guidance start-up Vernacular video platform YourQuote raises $1 mn from IDG

Delhi-based Indulge Beverages, which houses the brand Bonhomia, has been acquired by Bangalore-based CoCreate Ventures, a new investment firm which focuses on start-ups that are struggling. Bonhomia, which sells premium single-serve coffee and tea, raised $2.5 million plus in previous tranches from a group of super angels which includes, Fireside Ventures, Shripad Nadkarni, Apurva Salarpuria, Ashok Dhingra, Nita Mirchandani, Sarvesh Sahara Ramrod Advisors, Gidwani family and Tolmolbol.Founders Kunal Bhagat and Tuhin Jain will exit the venture. Univariety, a tech platform that helps schools provide career and college guidance, announced on Wednesday an investment worth ~12.5 crore from Info Edge, the parent company for Naukri.com and Zomato. Univariety provides products, services and counselling to students, schools, colleges and educators. YourQuote, a fast-growing original content and digital community platform, has secured $1 million in seed funding. The funding was led by IDG Ventures India and also saw participation from Atul Goel of the Essel City Group and Axilor. Fresh funds will help it in enhancing product and expanding the video platform.
