Worldline India reappoints Mr. Deepak Chandnani as Managing Director

Post the acquisition of Chennai based MRL Posnet, a full stack, tech-led, integrated merchant acquiring solutions provider, Worldline has reappointed Mr. Deepak Chandnani as Managing Director, Worldline South Asia and Middle East and Managing Director, MRL Posnet. On this announcement Mr. Deepak Chandnani, Managing Director, Worldline South Asia and Middle East and Managing Director MRL Posnet stated, “Having set an ambitious goal of becoming a leader in the Indian payment and transactional services industry, we are putting in place a highly experienced team for this exciting journey of achieving our goals. Before joining Worldline in January 2014, Deepak was CEO, Obopay Inc., Redwood City, California. Prior to that, he worked in India as Managing Director, NCR Corporation India and in senior leadership positions in companies like Hindustan Unilever and Citibank. Deepak is best known as an entrepreneurial C-level executive who focuses on top and bottom line growth for startups and established companies in mature and emerging markets. His experience has been across industries, product categories and market segments, with expertise in financial services and payments.
