Building on the success of the first edition of 5G India, Bharat Exhibitions has announced the 2nd edition of 5G India 2018 international conference and exhibition, which will once again bring together telecom industry leaders, policymakers and telecom analysts from around the globe to discuss on the issues and opportunities related to the deployment of 5G, highspeed digital applications and how such a technology would bring change for the better. The conference will help in ensuring the best awareness of India’sVision, Mission and Objectives to attain 5G proficiency and self-sufficiency in consonance with High Level Government Forum (HLGF) on 5G. The conference is scheduled on 17th & 18th May 2018 at the Leela Mumbai and planning to showcase the strengths, advantages and benefits of 5G through live demos/interactions. The objective of the 5G India 2018 conference is to spread awareness of the capability and benefits of 5G to any and all sectors be it education, agriculture, manufacturing or health to attain the goals of Digital India as per the vision and mission of Government of India – outlining India’s ambitions to position itself as not just as a consumer but a leader in 5G. The 5G India 2018 is being supported and endorsed by Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI), 3GPP, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), Centre of Excellence in Wireless-Technology (CEWiT), Tower & Infrastructure Providers Association (TAIPA), and Broadband India Forum as the knowledge partner of the event. The Conference is expected to attract 400 plus business audience representing key industry stakeholders such as operators, government agencies, regulator / policy enablers, technology companies, M2M / IoT companies, equipment and handset, OEMs, BFSI, FMCG, Healthcare, Retail, international experts and consultants together on a platform to discuss, debate and work out an actionable, relevant and structured framework for deployment of mobile broadband networks across pan India.
