Exide posts flat net profit in Q3 at ~155 crore

Exide Industries posted a flat net profit at ~155.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 even as its topline increased by 9.59 per cent at ~2496.84 crore. Rising expenses at ~2267.95 crore led by higher finance, depreciation and amortisation costs affected the company’s profitability. The net profit during Q3 of the last fiscal year stood at ~154.27 crore while its revenue stood at ~2278.29 crore.
