Vaswani is Voda Idea’s independent director

Vodafone Idea on Monday said its board had appointed Suresh Vaswani independent director for three years from February 8. Vaswani, 59, is an engineer from IIT-Kharagpur and holds a management degree from IIMAhmedabad. He is currently acting as an external global advisor to Bain Consulting, and is also a board member of technology company Servion.
