Oyo offers voluntary separation or leave extension to employees

Hospitalit­y firm Oyo India on Friday said it was offering its employees who were on leave with limited benefits the option to voluntaril­y separate or extend the leave for another six months. In April, it had asked some of its staff in India to go on leave with limited benefits from May 4 for four months and asked all employees in the country to accept a cut in fixed salaries by 25 per cent due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the hospitalit­y industry. meanwhile, Oyo on Friday appointed Anuj Tejpal its global chief commercial officer to lead the revenue, marketing, and growth teams. Anuj has been one of the founding members of Oyo and was the global business developmen­t leader, the firm said. In his new role, Anuj will work with regional CEOS and leaders to drive the global delivery of revenue for hotels, it said.
