The Fever Clinics will be instrumental in detecting cases and active surveillance and early testing can help counter the spread of the virus. The patients with symptoms of Covid 19 have been reluctant to come out and inform the state authorities. This prompted a doorto-door survey for patients with SARIS and ILIS. This method demanded huge manpower, resources and time. Under the ‘Kill Corona Campaign’, survey teams were deployed in the whole state for door to door survey. Noncontact thermometers, pulse oximeters and essential protective gears were provided to each survey team. entry of suspected patients were uploaded on ‘Sarthak App’.

Madhya Pradesh is manufacturing 12,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits per day for frontline warriors battling COVID-19. The state’s requirement of PPE kits stands at 10,000 per day. At 12,000 kits per day, it is producing an additional 2,000 kits per day. It has a surplus stock of PPE kits for the corona warriors. Many donors are also now coming forward to supply PPE kits in Indore. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the production of PPE kits in the state was started after an approval from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

To provide masks to people at reasonable rates, the state government began registration of women who were interested in stitching cotton cloth masks in the state.

The Social Justice and Disability Welfare Directorate has also set up an eight-member cell to manage the homecoming of the Divyangs and the elderly during the Corona virus outbreak in the state. Divyangs and old age people can contact the control room of the directorate on 07552556916 for their problems.
