Will build 40 km of highways per day by Fy21-end: Gadkari

India hopes to build 40 km of highways a day by Marchend, said Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, after achieving the milestone of 33 km a day. The government envisages building 34,800 km of highways at a cost of about ~5.35 trillion under the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojna.
