Income-tax department searches ZTE offices

The Income-tax department on Tuesday conducted massive search operations at ZTE Corporation, China’s second biggest telecom equipment maker. The company is engaged in trading of telecom equipment and installation and servicing of these items for telecom firms in India. So far, the probe has revealed that the purchases of the assessee company were entirely from the holding firm.
