Walton Street Blacksoil fund raises ~360 cr

Walton Street Blacksoil Real Estate Debt Fund II on Thursday said it got commitments of ~360 crore to close the first fund of ~500 crore. The Fund has an additional greenshoe option of ~250 crore. The Fund plans to use the proceeds to self-liquidate senior secured debt instruments, with a target security cover of more than 2 times, focus on middle-income residential projects in key tier I cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi-ncr.
