Zee shareholders pass resolutions

Shareholders of Zee Entertainment voted in favour of all resolutions put for voting in the annual general meeting (AGM) held on Tuesday. According to the voting results, the audited results, the payment of dividend and reappointment of independent directors were passed with requisite majority. The resolution to induct independent directors, Sasha Mirchandani and Vivek Mehra, was also cleared. As the two independent directors, Ashok Kurien and Manish Chokhani, quit just before the AGM, the resolutions for their reelection became infructuous.
