UK makes it simpler for vaccinated individuals to enter the country. Says it will recognise full vaccinations from 17 additional countries. India is excluded from this list.

This means fully vaccinated Indians would be treated as unvaccinated and would have to stay in home isolation for 10 days after arriving in UK.

India later took the matter up with UK government, warned of retaliation.
