MUQTADA AL-SADR SET TO WIN IRAQ VOTE

Followers of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-sadr celebrate holding after the announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections, in Baghdad. Lawmakers backed by al-sadr came first in a vote that marked an early test for PM Mustafa al-kadhimi’s 17-month-old government. Sadr’s bloc won at least 73 seats out of 329, state-run TV Iraqiya said
