JAPAN WARMS UP TO ‘BELT AND ROAD’

Chinese President Xi Jinping's Belt and Road plans to link Asia with the Middle East and Europe have got unexpected support from Japan. Although critics suggest it will help increase China’s infl uence in the region, Japan will provide fi nancial support to private sector partnerships, Nikkei reported.
