Since 2015, India has initiated 54 anti-dumping proceedings against Chinese imports covering stainless steel, wind energy equipment, radial tyres and chemicals, the highest against any country.

India strengthened the BIS law in 2016. This has hit cheaper and poor-quality Chinese imports.
