US to take India to WTO

The US plans to take India to the World Trade Organization ( WTO) dispute settlement body, or DSB, saying its rules requiring solar power developers to use Indian- made cells and modules were discriminatory, according to a Reuters report. The United States had complained about this in 2013 and won the case last year. India had until December 14 to comply with the ruling; it told the DSB last week that it had done so.
