INTEL CEO RESIGNS OVER POLICY VIOLATION
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich has resigned after his past consensual relationship with an employee came to light. A probe into the matter has confirmed a violation of the semiconductor giant’s non-fraternisation policy, which applies to all managers. Krzanich may walk away with $44.5 million based on severance agreements, disclosed in Intel’s 2017 proxy statement. CFO Robert Swan will step in as interim CEO.
