ZTE NAMES NEW CEO TO COMPLY WITH US MANDATE

China’s ZTE Corp has announced new top executives, including CEO and CFO, as part of a deal with the US to get a supplier ban lifted, according to media reports. US companies were banned from supplying parts to ZTE as it broke an agreement to discipline executives who worked to evade US sanctions on Iran and North Korea. The new CEO is the former head of its Germany business, Xu Ziyang.
