Plan Assumptions

The calculations and projections provided in the plan are based on the following assumptions:

Annual inflation rate: 7 per cent (both pre- and postretirement)

Post-tax returns assumed for the below-stated assets are: Ultra-short-term investments: 6 per cent Equity funds: 12 per cent Debt/EPF/PPF: 7 per cent
