T-MOBILE, NOKIA SIGN LARGEST 5G DEAL

T-Mobile US has signed a $3.5 billion deal with Nokia to build 5G wireless network gear for the mobile carrier in the world’s largest 5G deal yet. T-Mobile, the country’s No. 3 mobile carrier that has recently agreed to a merger with Sprint, says that the multiyear supply deal will allow it to deliver the first nationwide 5G services, creating a more formidable rival to telecom giants Verizon and AT&T.
