APPLE VALUED AT $1 TRILLION

-

Apple has become the first publicly traded US company to be valued at $1 trillion. The historic milestone follows Apple’s strong Q3 figures, including a surge in revenue to $53.3 billion and the sale of 41.3 million iPhones. Its stock has also risen 23 per cent this year. Chinese oil giant PetroChina hit $1 trillion in market cap in 2007 and Saudi oil firm Aramco is valued at $2 trillion but is not yet public.
