CISCO BUYS DUO SECURITY FOR $2.35 BN
In a significant unicorn exit, cybersecurity platform Duo Security, a 700-strong company, will be acquired by Cisco in a $2.35 billion deal. Set up in 2010, the Michiganbased start-up reached a valuation of $1.17 billion following a Series D in late 2017, which means it has doubled its valuation in less than a year, says CB Insights. Smart speaker company Sonos is also launching its IPO at a $1.5 billion valuation.
