GODIVA MAY SELL JAPANESE BUSINESS

Yildiz Holding, the Turkish owner of Godiva Chocolatie­r, is mulling a sale of its Japanese business that could fetch around $1.5 billion, a Reuters report says. Godiva operates in more than 80 countries and its Japanese business has revenue of around $350 million a year. Family-owned Yildiz also owns McVitie’s biscuits and Ülker and competes with high-end brands such as Lindt.
