SIRIUS TO BUY PANDORA FOR $3.5 BN

Satellite radio company SiriusXM is taking over streaming service Pandora in a $3.5 billion all-stock deal. The company had earlier bought a large stake in Pandora. If the deal goes through, it will combine SiriusXM’s 36 million subscribers with Pandora’s more than 70 million monthly active users, making Sirius the world’s biggest audio entertainment company.
