UBER MAY ACQUIRE DELIVEROO

US-based ride-sharing firm Uber is reportedly in talks to buy London-based food delivery startup Deliveroo, a key competitor of UberEats. The London firm was last valued at more than $2 billion. The takeover bid also shows that Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi considers the company’s food delivery business a top priority ahead of a planned IPO late next year.
