SAUDI ARABIA FEELS THE HEAT

After the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, global business leaders distanced themselves from Saudi Arabia’s flagship investment initiative Davos in the Desert. SoftBank’s Masayoshi Son went there to meet senior officials, but he also cancelled a speaking engagement. Son’s $100 billion Vision Fund I raised $45 billion from the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, but a similar investment into its second fund may not be happening.
