50 PER CENT SUPPORT JOBS AT AMAZON’S HQ2

After 14 months of intense search, the e-commerce giant has selected two locations for its HQ2 project – Long Island in New York City and Crystal City in Virginia – each expecting to get around 25,000 jobs. As per a WSJ report, half of the jobs at the new headquarters will be for support positions such as marketing, finance and HR, but these may earn an average annual salary of $1,50,000. Amazon will get up to $3 billion in tax incentives, but it will depend on meeting the targets for job creation.
