Fuel Demand Falls 1.5% YoY

Demand for petroleum fuels fell 1.5 per cent year- on-year in May after most state governments imposed curbs on mobility.

Month- on- month, consumption dipped from 18.8 million tonnes in March 2021 to 17 million tonnes in April 2021 to 15.1 million tonnes in May

ATF demand rose 138.6 per cent YoY due to low base (there were few flights due to lockdown last year)
