TATA MOTORS HAS closed the financial year 2021-22 on a high. According to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the auto major’s market share grew from 7.8 per cent in FY21 to 11.45 per cent in FY22, making it the third-largest passenger vehicle maker in India after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. And in electric vehicles, the company is the clear No. 1. With two electric cars—Nexon EV and Tigor EV—in its fold, Tata Motors dominates the market with more than 85 per cent market share after selling 15,198 vehicles. Electrifying, we say.
