HIRING BOOM FOR FRESHERS IN IT

Fresher hiring is likely to be robust this year, too. IT companies, dragged down by all-time-high attrition rates and a raging talent war because of poaching employees from each other, are looking to increase the IT talent supply. IT bellwethers TCS and Infosys, which reported 17.4 per cent and 27.7 per cent attrition as of March 31, 2022, have said they will hire at least 40,000 and 50,0000 freshers, respectively, in FY23. The focus is also on how companies can cut down the time taken to train and deploy them quickly.
