CARLSON REZIDOR is opening a Radisson Resort Hosur in Tamil Nadu in 2018. The hotel aims to provide an array of upscale facilities including a restaurant, gym, health club, spa, beauty salon, cricket pitch, badminton court, tennis court, golf academy and driving range. To cater to the MICE market the property will feature a ballroom, several meeting rooms, boardrooms and a business centre. COMMEASURE, South Asia’s hotel booking platform, has signed more than 50 hotels as its customers in Kerala. Using Commeasure’s cloud-based technology platform, these hotels can now directly distribute room inventory on their own branded website and other online channels, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience while making a booking. RITZ CARLTON is to take over Le Meridien Budapest. The hotel will operate as Le Meridien for the rest of the year, before undergoing renovations in the first half of 2016 and re-branded as the Ritz Carlton. The former Nile Hilton will also be relaunched this summer as the Nile Ritz Carlton in Cairo following full restoration. TATA GROUP-OWNED hospitality chain IHC is planning to spend around `2,000 crore to open 10 new properties under its luxury brand Vivanta in the next five years. This will include two hotels in Amritsar and Guwahati with approximately 150 rooms each, and one property in Dubai. ST. REGIS, which is scheduled to open in 2018 at the Palladium Hotel in Mumbai, has made its debut in Moscow, Russia. The 210-room hotel has five bars and restaurants, a spa, indoor pool, private rooftop bar for functions, and further event space. PENINSULA HOTELS’ guests will get complimentary access to Dr Dre Beats signature products for the duration of their stay. Guests may select from the Beats’ menu card in the room by phoning the concierge, and the product will be hand-delivered along with a quick tutorial on how to begin the listening experience. This partnership between the two brands is the first of its kind and was launched at the Peninsula Hotel in New York on July 1.
