BRITISH AIRWAYS is set to operate daily A380 service to Singapore. The carrier flies doubledail­y between the two cities, with the superjumbo flying three-times weekly. From December 14, the A380 will fly BA11/BA12 daily, with BA11 departing LHR at 1910 and arriving at 1555 the next day, and BA12 leaving Singapore Changi at 11:20pm and landing at 3:10pm the next day. DELTA AIR LINES is partnering with New York-based designer Zac Posen to create new uniforms for ground and cabin staff. The clothing is expected to debut in early 2018. UNITED will fly B787-9 aircraft on six new routes out of HoustonRio de Janeiro (August 18), Frankfurt (September 24), Buenos Aires (October 25), Amsterdam (December 17), Santiago de Chile (January 5) and Tokyo Narita (March 3). QATAR AIRWAYS Introduced a “high-density” two-class A340-600 on its Doha-Kuala Lumpur route last month. VIRGIN AMERICA will install on board wifi fast enough to stream videos in September. The carrier predicts that the wifi connectivi­ty is up to 10 times faster than typical on board wifi. This year the wifi will be compliment­ary but from 2016 they will start charging for it.
