Aeroflot serving a new summer menu
Aeroflot, the Russian carrier has a new summer menu, for passengers flying business class on both international and domestic routes. The menu has been customised to meet the tastes and preferences of the customers in compliance with their previous feedback. An expert team led by Thierry Mona head chef at LSG sky chefs — a worldwide leader in on board catering has created the menu with a range of dishes from chefs of Moscow restaurants Twins and Blue Bay. Vitaly Saveliev the CEO of Aeroflot said that with their new and enhanced menu they aim to achieve a competitive advantage by keeping in mind their clients’ preferences and suggestions. Ivan and Sergei Berezutzkiy titled Russia’s most talented young chefs and Marcel Ravin a Michelin starred connoisseur of fine foods have listened to passengers’ growing requirement for food that is both healthy and delicious. The menu is diverse and includes cream soup of green peas with scallops; baked halibut with black rice; wakame seaweed with fennel and orange (served with creamy sauce of seaweed); cold appetiser of crabmeat, Tabbouleh salad and mango sauce; cod baked with lime and honey; and Chilean seabass crusted with sautéed spinach, and anise sauce. The range of exquisite desserts has been crafted by Kamal Benmamar; a French chef who has worked at Michelinstarred restaurants and is currently head chef at Vanil’ restaurant, part of the Arkadiy Novikov’s group. Aeroflot flies from Delhi, Goa and Mumbai in India to Moscow in Russia.
