Jet Airways signs codeshare agreement with Fiji Airways and partners with Uber

Jet Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Fiji Airways. Passengers travelling on Fiji Airways can fly to destinations across Jet Airways’ network including Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai from Singapore.

“Jet Airways will place its 9W code on Fiji Airways’ flights from Singapore and Hong Kong to Nadi, and Fiji Airways will place its “FJ”code on Jet Airways’services between Singapore and Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai as well as between Hong Kong and Mumbai and Delhi,”says the airline’s press release.

All codeshare flights will allow passengers to check in at the point of embarkation until the final port.

JetPrivilege members can book flights using JPMiles on the codeshare flight connections operated by Fiji Airways. The miles will be accumulated and added to their JetPrivilege status. In other news, Jet Airways has also announced its partnership with taxi aggregator firm Uber. Passengers now have the option of booking their Uber ride the moment they book their flight with Jet Airways. Uber cabs can also be booked through the airline’s smartphone app.

Further, Jet Airways’ passengers signing up with Uber for the first time can avail of a discount of 50 each on their first three rides upon registration by using the promo code — JETUBER.
